HRNL is a UK based Network Manager of Building Tradespersons and Contractors. This privacy notice applies to all of HRNL's subsidiaries in the United Kingdom.

HRNL will not collect any information about individuals using this website, the MyClaim portal, or our services, except where it is specifically and knowingly provided by them, or as otherwise explained in this privacy notice.

When you use the MyClaim Portal, we process specific data fields relating to your insurance claim. Examples of the information that you might provide to us are as follows:

  • Identity data: including your first name and last name.
  • Contact data: including your email address, telephone numbers, and risk address.
  • Claim data: Vulnerability information (where explicitly provided by you during onboarding), policy excess payment records, uploaded claim photos, audio attachments, and communications logs.
  • Technical data: including IP address, login data, secure authentication tokens, and browser environments.

3. Why we need to collect and use your information

We need to collect your information in order to be able to deliver the services or products you request from us, and to fulfil any orders or contracts you place with us (specifically, managing the structural repairs and surveying agreed via your Insurer).

Within the MyClaim portal, explicit consent is gathered for specialised data such as health-related or personal vulnerability statements to ensure our network contractors can accommodate your personal requirements on-site safely.

4. How we use your information

The information collected will be used to:

  • Enable us to provide the repairs, goods or services that your Insurer has requested from us.
  • Set up contact details for you on our consumer management database.
  • Process excess payments via secured third-party banking integrations.
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
  • Ensure that content from our portal is presented in the most effective manner for you.

We do not intend to transfer your information outside of the EU/UK.

5. Who we share your information with

By using our website and MyClaim Portal, you agree that we have the right to share your personal information with:

  • Your Insurer: To fulfil the primary validation and restoration of the claim.
  • Carefully selected suppliers and sub-contractors: (e.g. Surveyors, drying specialists, builders) for the purposes of performing repair contacts.
  • External support services: IT providers, portal hosting infrastructures, and communication partners (e.g. 3CX telecoms).

6. Cookies and Portal Security

We use Strictly Necessary Cookies to allow you to log into secure areas of our MyClaim portal securely. Without these session cookies, the authentication surrounding your personal repair information cannot function safely.

7. Your rights in relation to your information

Your personal data is protected by the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). HRNL takes its obligations seriously, including the requirement that any personal data we use and process must be collected for a specified and legitimate purpose.
