1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to the MyClaim Portal by Home Repair Network Limited ("HRNL"). By accessing, registering for, or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this portal and contact your Insurer directly.
2. Description of the Platform
The MyClaim Portal is an online service designed to assist policyholders and claimants in tracking the status of their property repair claims, communicating with their appointed repair network, submitting documentation (including photos and audio), and remitting any excess payments authorised by their insurance policy.
3. Account Registration & Security
- Access: Access to the portal is granted via a unique reference link or specific claim credentials.
- Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Accuracy: You agree that all information you provide or upload (including vulnerability statuses and communication preferences) is accurate and up to date.
- Notification: You must immediately notify HRNL if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
When using the MyClaim Portal, you agree not to:
- Upload viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
- Upload documentation or audio files that are offensive, illegal, or completely unrelated to your insurance claim.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the portal's underlying systems, databases, or other users' claim information.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the portal via automation or artificial software.
HRNL reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the portal if we reasonably suspect misuse.
5. Document and Audio Uploads
Any materials (photos, letters, audio recordings) you submit via the "Upload Centre" remain your property; however, you grant HRNL an operational licence to store, process, and share these files internally and with your Insurer or approved sub-contractors solely for the purpose of assessing and completing your repair.
6. Payment Processing
Any Excess Payments made through the MyClaim portal are securely processed via certified third-party payment gateways. HRNL does not persistently store raw credit card numbers on its own servers.
7. Limitation of Liability
While HRNL strives to ensure the portal is secure, reliable, and available, the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the portal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HRNL excludes all indirect or consequential liability originating from the use or inability to use the MyClaim portal.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by HRNL's negligence.
8. Changes to the Terms of Use
We may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our business operations, or portal features. The continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the newly revised terms.
